The angst-virus has struck again with full force. Especially among government leaders and politicians it caused a true bloodbath. But rescue is close at hand. Bastiaanssen International Rescue has not only discovered that the virus is centuries-old, but they have also developed a cure: the Borderliner, a "dog with a bite". Research shows that the recently discovered ANGST-virus has been present since the origin of mankind. Thus it appears from carbon research that the apples from the tree of knowledge were contaminated with the ANGS-virus, thus causing contamination of both Adam and Eve at the time they were evicted from paradise. It was also established by means of excavations that during the Flood the virus hitched a ride on Noah's Arc. Distinguished scientists are of the opinion that both the raids of the Huns as well as the crusades may be attributed to a mutation of the ANGST-virus, which caused the virus to be especially active during these periods in time. Thus it is also known that Napoleon kept his hand on his stomach in order to magnetize the ANGST-virus. As we now know, with poor results. During the last two world wars the virus controlled nearly the entire planet. Bastiaanssen International Rescue (B.I.R.) has succeeded in isolating and making the ANGST-virus visible. The virus that caused mankind to wander from the earliest beginnings, has been given a face. Although the discovery and isolation of the ANGST-virus will probably completely alter the course of history, B.I.R. remains calm: "Rescue is simply our profession". Bastiaanssen International Rescue has been dismantling lies and shattering myths for years. In the art world, where false tracks and the emperor's clothes are an everyday occurrence, B.I.R. discovered an underlying compulsive pattern, based on angst. When studying curators and their avant-garde art, the employees of B.I.R. independently of one another saw black spots; which at first sight seemed to be a fainting fit, proved to be a genuine virus, after having interchanged ideas with, amongst others, WHO. Isolating and breeding this virus from curator's cold sweat was child's play for the specialists. The breeded viruses were further cultivated in the workshops of B.I.R., which is also the birthplace of the black, blue-eyed dogs of B.I.R. These dogs won theirs spurs during the project ART IS A DOG, where they took over art galleries all over the world partially and temporarily.

Miracle cure
After they came into contact with the virus, the dogs from ART IS A DOG, known for their inertia and introspection, mutated into a "dog with a bite", an extrovert creature with an almost human grin. This human charisma gave the mutated dogs their name: "Borderliner". To their surprise scientists found that this Borderliner proved to have a healing influence on human beings. A stroboscopic examination turned out that the effect of the ANGST-virus strongly decreased when a contaminated person and a Borderliner spent time in the same room. Bastiaanssen International Rescue is even quoted as saying: "The ultimate and unpatented solution for all present and possibly even future problems". Although the virus changed the appearance of the ART IS A DOG dog into that of a Borderliner, it emerges that the inner self of this faithful lifesaver was not affected. In this sense the Borderliner is immune to the virus. The dog that used to await events, is now showing its teeth. It defuses fear and makes friends in an unparalleled gesture; a mixture of confidence and a show of friendship without respect of persons. In the short term B.I.R. hopes to breed enough Borderliners to start ridding the world of the ANGST-virus. B.I.R. cannot say how many Borderliners this will require, but is evident that a great number will be needed.

World leaders
Bastiaanssen International Rescue (B.I.R.) gave the go-ahead to the Borderliner project. In an ultimate attempt to free contaminated mankind from the ANGST-virus, B.I.R. wants to start by saving world leaders. Meanwhile the first Borderliners were shipped to two selected political leaders. The aim is that all leaders will own a Borderliner. In the long term everyone who wants to taste true freedom will have to be delivered from the ANGST-virus. Bastiaanssen International Rescue knows that the Borderliner is the best means against the contamination that has terrorized mankind from the beginning. The charisma of the Borderliner has a healing effect on this. The Borderliner project has started, the first two Borderliners are on their way. More shipments will follow.
